INTERNSHIPS
Laing O'Rourke provides training and development to young engineers via internships which offer the opportunity to obtain the vital industry experience they require to successfully complete their formal qualifications, whilst at the same time enabling Laing O'Rourke to build relationships with budding engineers and the institutions they represent.
Internships can be completed either through vacation employment and/or sandwich employment. Individuals are rotated through various construction disciplines, which provides them with a comprehensive preview of particular career paths and an understanding of the interface between the various duties and principles associated with each discipline. Of course as our budding engineers graduate, we then offer the opportunity to participate in our leading edge graduate development program.
